All Kindermusik programs:

  • Full year, Term 1 and/or Term 2:  a $150 deposit is due at the time of registration, for each student. You can choose to pay the deposit and balance at the same time, or pay the balance on the first day of class.  Payment plans are available, but must be approved first. If your payment plan is approved, payment is expected until the end of your term. You cannot decide that you want to drop out and not pay anymore.  You are paying for the term, not the amount of classes you have attended.  We reserve the right to withdraw from offering monthly payments if your account is not in good standing and the remaining balance will be required to be paid immediately.  Please be aware that there is a $2.50 fee per month for payment plans.  An invoice will be sent within 24 hours of your registration.

  • Mini programs:  Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.  An invoice will be sent within 24 hours of your registration.

  • There are NO REFUNDS.

  • Payments can be made by credit card online, by sending an e-transfer to kmdione@gmail.com, cash, debit and credit card at the our Studio.

  • If you have an older child who has been through the program and you have the required home materials already, you will qualify for a discount.  We'll figure it out together.

All Private and Semi-private programs:

  • There is no required deposit.

  • Payment plans are available, but must be approved first.  Please be aware that there is a $2.50 fee per month for payment plans.

* Absences:

  • If your child is ill or has had a fever in the 24 hours prior to your class, we ask that you keep him/her at home to avoid spreading germs.

  • Please try to send an email or a text to your teacher if you are going to miss a class.  We care and worry about absent children (and their caregiver).

  • If you miss your In-Studio class, please contact your educator to book your Sunday Zoom class before 9:00 AM Sunday morning.  It may also be possible to join another In-Studio class to make up your missed class, however, you will need to contact your educator first.

  • In the event that a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness or government mandated closures, any In Studio classes will be done online on Zoom, at the regular in-studio class time, if your teacher is able to teach.

* Classroom etiquette:

  • Babies and crawlers attend classes therefore all footwear must be removed outside the classroom door.  Research shows that barefoot is best, however, you may bring slippers for you and your child.

  • All food and drinks must remain in the child locker area, outside the classroom.  If your child is hungry or thirsty, please feel free to offer them something in the hallway and not in the classroom.  (Does not apply to bottles for babies in the Foundations class)

  • Please be respectful of your teacher.  We know that caregivers often form bonds, but we ask to keep social chatting until after class.  It can be distracting to other caregivers and especially to the children.  Your teacher could be teaching multiple classes each day, and raising her voice over yours could cause unnecessary strain for her.  You are welcome to chat in the hallway or at the park before or after class.

  • This is not a "watch from the sidelines" activity.  Caregiver participation is very important at all ages.  Our energy and actions contribute directly to the success of the children.

  • If the classroom door is closed, it often means that there is a class that is wrapping up or your teacher is prepping for your class. Please wait until she opens the door before entering the classroom.

* COVID-19:

Keeping our classroom clean has always been a priority at Kindermusik with Mme Dione. Here's how, together, we can all do our part.

Mme Dione's Commitment:

  • There is a maximum of 6 students with a caregiver in all classes.

  • Physical distancing vinyl mats are available for each student/caregiver pair.

  • Every student will have their own instrument bin.  A bottle of disinfectant will be provided for parents to disinfect their child's bin and instruments at the end of each class.

  • Hand sanitizer is available in the hallway as well as inside the classroom.

  • All surfaces are wiped down after each class and will be fogged on a regular basis.

  • Disinfectant spray and/or wipes will be provided for the bathroom.

  • Your teacher will always wear a mask and/or a face shield during the entire In-Studio class.

  • Adult sized masks will be available to those who need one.

Parent Commitment:

  • Do not come to your In-Studio class if you or your child is ill, including having a cold or flu.

  • Sanitize your hands and your child's hands before entering and leaving the studio.

  • Practice social distancing as much as you can.

  • Wear your mask and encourage your child to wear theirs (when possible).  Practicing at home could be helpful.

  • You will need to clean your child's bin and instruments at the end of each class with the provided disinfectant.

  • Please wipe down bathroom surfaces (toilet, door, etc) after use, with the provided disinfectant.

  • Follow any health unit recommendations not listed here.

** Be aware that class days and/or times may be changed, added or cancelled.  You will be notified if this happens.

*** There is a liability waiver and consent form to sign.

****If you are registering 2 weeks before your class start date, it's possible that you'll receive the digital version of the home materials instead of the physical home materials.
