All Kindermusik programs:

  • Full year, Term 1 and/or Term 2:  a $150 deposit is due at the time of registration, for each student. You can choose to pay the deposit and balance at the same time, or pay the balance on the first day of class. Payment plans are available, but must be approved first. If your payment plan is approved, payment is expected until the end of your term. You cannot decide that you want to drop out and not pay anymore. You are paying for the term, not the amount of classes you have attended.  We reserve the right to withdraw from offering monthly payments if your account is not in good standing. The remaining balance, with a 10% late fee will be added to your invoice for outstanding balances and will be required to be paid immediately. Please be aware that there is a $2.50 fee per month for payment plans. An invoice will be sent within 48 hours of your registration.

  • Please note: Due to increases in credit card processing, a 2.9% processing fee will apply with this payment method. This fee is automatically added to your invoice, but will be waived when paying by e-transfer, cash or debit at the studio.

  • Mini programs: Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration. An invoice will be sent within 48 hours of your registration. Physical materials are not guaranteed. All students have access to the digital versions of the book and music.

  • Camps/PA Days/Events: Deposits must be paid at registration time and remaining balance paid before the start of the event.

  • Payments can be made by credit card online, by sending an e-transfer to kmdione@gmail.com, or in person with cash, debit and credit card at our studio.

  • If you have an older child who has been through the program and you have the required home materials already, you will qualify for a discount. We'll figure it out together and the tuition will be adjusted on your invoice.

  • There are NO REFUNDS. Under extenuating circumstances and only under our discretion, a PARTIAL refund may be returned, however, there is a $35 non-refundable administration fee to cover the costs of processing your registration. Moving and/or changing jobs does not fall under an extenuating circumstance.

All Private and Semi-private programs:

  • There is no required deposit.

  • New students: Balance must be paid in full for the term (10 weeks or 30 weeks) prior to or on the first day of class.

  • Payment plans are available, but must be approved first.  Please be aware that there is a $2.50 fee per month for payment plans.

  • In the event that a lesson is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, the lesson will simply be rescheduled to the end of the block. (No lesson will be lost)

  • If there is a government mandated closure that is out of our control, your registration will be put on pause until lessons can resume In-Studio.  If we cannot resume lessons before the end of the season, a credit for future lessons will be issued.  There are no refunds.

* Absences:

  • If your child is ill or has had a fever in the 24 hours prior to your class, we ask that you keep him/her at home to avoid spreading germs.

  • Please try to send an email or a text to your teacher if you are going to miss a class.  We care and worry about absent children (and their caregiver).

  • In the event that a class is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, classes can be done online on Zoom at the regular in-studio class time, if your teacher is able to teach. If not, your teacher will let you know how she will schedule a make up class.

  • If there is a government mandated closure that is out of our control, Kindermusik classes will move online on Zoom and could be merged or changed to another day, depending on the circumstances.

* Classroom etiquette:

  • Babies and crawlers attend classes therefore all footwear must be removed outside the classroom door. Research shows that barefoot is best, however, you may bring slippers for you and your child.

  • All food and drinks must remain in the child locker area, outside the classroom.  If your child is hungry or thirsty, please feel free to offer them something in the hallway and not in the classroom.  (Does not apply to bottles for babies in the Foundations class)

  • Please be respectful of your teacher.  We know that caregivers often form bonds, but we ask to keep social chatting until after class.  It can be distracting to other caregivers and especially to the children.  Your teacher could be teaching multiple classes each day, and raising her voice over yours could cause unnecessary strain for her.  You are welcome to chat in the hallway or at the park before or after class.

  • This is not a "watch from the sidelines" activity.  Caregiver participation is very important at all ages.  Our energy and actions contribute directly to the success of the children.

  • If the classroom door is closed, it often means that there is a class that is wrapping up or your teacher is prepping for your class. Please wait until she opens the door before entering the classroom.

* COVID-19 and infectious diseases:

Keeping our classroom clean has always been a priority at Kindermusik with Mme Dione. Here's how, together, we can all do our part.

Mme Dione's Commitment:

  • There is a maximum of students with a caregiver in all classes.

  • Physical distancing vinyl mats are available for each student/caregiver pair, if desired.

  • Every student will have their own instrument bin.  A bottle of disinfectant will be provided for parents to disinfect their child's bin and instruments at the end of each class.

  • Hand sanitizer is available in the hallway as well as inside the classroom.

  • All surfaces are wiped down after each class and will be fogged on a regular basis.

  • Disinfectant spray and/or wipes will be provided for the bathroom.

  • Masks are no longer mandatory, however, everyone can choose whether or not to wear one and masks will be available to those who need one.

Parent Commitment:

  • Do not come to your class if you or your child is ill, including having a cold or flu.

  • Sanitize your hands and your child's hands before entering and leaving the studio.

  • You will need to clean your child's bin and instruments at the end of each class with the provided disinfectant.

  • Please spray down bathroom surfaces (toilet, door, etc) after use, with the provided disinfectant.

  • Follow any health unit recommendations not listed here.

* Tuition includes a $35 non refundable administration fee, books, instruments, digital media, any extra materials that are purchased for the student and other fees deemed necessary.  Extra instruments are listed for purchase and are itemized separately.

** Be aware that class days and/or times may be changed, added or cancelled.  You will be notified if this happens.

*** There is a liability waiver and consent form to sign.

****If you are registering 2 weeks before your class start date, it's possible that you will not receive any physical materials (books and instruments).  All students do however receive the digital version available on the Kindermusik app.
